AFTERCARE
EYEBROWS
We broke down the necessary information into 3 sections, so please read all to get the full picture of the healing process:
-
Now that you have started your journey it is important to know that the color you see during the first days is not the final color. In fact, you will need to wait around 4-5 weeks after each session to see the final results. The key thing here is to be patient and trust the healing process.
Keeping your brows clean and dry is crucial in the first few days. It is important to keep your fingers away from your brows, and use the ointment as per the instructions below.
SUMMARY:
•During the first 2-3 days your brows color will look the darkest and thickest.
•Around days 3-5 your brows will begin to flake/scab, and this is normal. Please do not try to pick any of these, as it could leave you with gaps in your brows. Instead, just let the flakes/scabs fall on their own.
•As part of this process, the color of your brows will go down significantly during the flaking/scabbing period.
•As you as you enter the 2nd and 3rd week the color will start to come back.
•It is normal to see some spots where the color looks uneven, or even some spots where the color did not stick. Don’t worry, that is why a touch-up is required.
•The touch-up will help detail your brows, and give your brows a booster to last longer, so make sure you don’t skip it!

DAY 1:
•Gently blot brows every couple hours with a water wipe from your kit, to absorb lymph fluid (alternatively user a wet cotton pad/swab). Apply a thin layer of the ointment in your kit using a clean cotton swab (make sure your brows are dry before applying). Repeat this every 2 hours, until you go to sleep. Remember to always wash your hands first.
Note: Swelling and redness is normal at this point, but it should go away in the next day.
DAYS 2-3:
•Gently rinse your eyebrows [with water only] and pat dry with clean paper towel/tissue or cotton pad. Apply a thin layer of the ointment in your kit using a clean cotton swab (make sure your brows are dry before applying). Do this at mornings and nights, and remember to always wash your hands first.
•You may start taking showers now, but make them short and avoid water stream on your face. For shampooing, make sure the water flows to your back. Getting your brows a little wet in the shower is totally fine, just pat them dry right after with a clean paper towel/tissue or cotton pad.
Note: Expect dark/bold brows during this time.
DAYS 4-7:
•Same as days 2-3
•Scabbing will begin and peak around these days, this is normal, so don’t alarm.
Note: DO NOT pick at scabs, as they will fall naturally.
DAYS 8-14:
•Continue to rinse your eyebrows [with water only] and pat dry with clean paper towel/tissue or cotton pad. Do this at mornings and nights, and remember to always wash your hands first. No more ointments is necessary at this point, unless instructed otherwise by your artist.
DAYS 15 & AFTER:
•Brows should be fully healed externally by day 15.
•You can resume normal skincare and makeup routine at this point.
Note: Brows are still healing internally, and the color will continue to evolve until 4-5 weeks from the initial procedure day.
DISCLAIMERS:
•When applying the ointment use the size about 1 rice grain. All you need is a thin layer of ointment over your brows. Too much ointment can suffocate your brows and lead to bad results.
•If you feel you are having a reaction or infection, reach out to your physician and inform your artist.
